DPEN’s vision is better health and care for all people living with dementia and those caring for them. Our mission is to educate and prepare dementia team members to feel capable, supported, valued, and engaged. DPEN is working towards our mission in 4 main ways:
1. Educating future clinicians

2. Training practicing nurses
- Intensive dementia-focused training for practicing registered nurses (completed)
- Dementia Care Works tool (on hold)
3. Supporting care partners
- Preparing healthcare providers for complex medical management in dementia
- Creating care partner support materials (completed)
- Managing Your Own Wellness intervention (on hold)
