Brandon Benson, Jane Foundation Board Member, Alumnus of the University of Washington

Brandon Benson earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Statistics and Mathematics at the University of Washington. Benson currently works for Boeing in Flight Test. Additionally, Benson is a member of the Swedish Cultural Center and the National Nordic Museum and has served on the Board of Directors for both organizations.

 

 

 

 

Eeeseung Byun, PhD, RN, Associate Professor, University of Washington School of Nursing

Dr. Eeeseung Byun is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Informatics at the University of Washington School of Nursing. Dr. Byun is also the Harborview Medical Center Endowed Professor in Critical Care. Dr. Byun’s program of research has focused on the development of knowledge related to symptom management (sleep disturbance, fatigue, depression, and impaired cognition) and underlying mechanisms evoking these symptoms in persons with stroke. Dr. Byun has also identified symptom experiences of family caregivers of persons with stroke.

 

 

Petra Hilleberg, Honorary Consul of Sweden to Washington and Oregon and President and CEO of Hilleberg the Tentmaker

Petra Hilleberg is the President and CEO of Hilleberg the Tentmaker. She is now the President of Hilleberg, Inc, the US office, President of Hilleberg AB, the Swedish office, as well as the CEO of the Hilleberg Group, where she oversees the operations in Sweden, the US and the factory in Estonia. In 2022, Miss Hilleberg was awarded the “Female Shooting Star” prize by Ernst & Young at the Entrepreneur of the Year gala for Northern Sweden. The Governor of Washington State, Jay Inslee, recognized Miss Hilleberg as the “Washingtonian of the Day” on September 16, 2022. In 2019 Miss Hilleberg was appointed as Honorary Consul of Sweden to Washington and Oregon. She is very active in the vibrant Nordic community in the Northwest where she served as President of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce for many years. Since its inception in 2018, she has been part of the core steering committee for the Nordic Innovation Summit hosted by the National Nordic Museum. She is an Honorary Trustee on the board of Directors for the National Nordic Museum, Member of the Consular Associations of both Washington and Oregon, and Board member of AFUU (American Friends of Uppsala University).

 

 

Dahlia Mak, Senior Consultant, Strategy and Lean with Ellit Groups

Dahlia Mak, Managing Director, Moss Adams

Dahlia Mak has been in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years as a healthcare administrator and management consultant, and currently serves as a Senior Consultant, Strategy and Lean with Ellit Groups. Most recently, she was a Managing Director in the Lean Health Care PracEce at Moss Adams and previously a Principal and Vice President of Rona Consulting Group. Her work has been grounded in improving healthcare, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams within medical centers, large academic institutions, and public health departments to transform health care experiences, to drive meaningful change and to improve quality and patient safety.
